Heavy Equipment Deployed Evacuating Landslide in Pondok Labu

One heavy equipment was deployed to flatten the soil at Pondok Labu City Forest border, South Jakarta.

We asked help from Sub-dept. of Water Management improving the area geography

Previously, the equipment was used to dredge Pinang Kali Jati river.

“We asked help from Sub-dept. of Water Management improving the area geography,” said Kristisasi Helenandari, South Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Maritime, Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP), Tuesday (9/13).

She added that the bronjong (rocks wrapped in plaited wires) should prevent the landslide at the area.

Meanwhile, South Jakarta Sub-dept. of Fire Handling and Rescue (PKP) also prepared concrete saw, genset, and hooligan tool.

“We deploy six rescue personnel. They are ready to assist cutting the trees, concrete and iron,” said Sartono, Head Section of Rescue for the agency.
